Mr. Beer N. Hockey Sr. sent some old family photographs over. The pictures were taken with an old brown box camera known as a brownie if I am not mistaken. Hard copy photographs are the best for looking back on your world before it got modern.
The most striking of the photographs is of my long gone grandfather. The occasion of the photograph is a Christmas over 40 years ago. Grandfather has on a silly cracker hat and he is uncorking a bottle of champagne. The champagne is from France. If not for tough old motherfuckers like my grandfather the champagne would have a swastika on the label.
It looks like grandfather is singing in the picture but he was not the sort of person who sang much. He is probably belching.
