Hadn't read Kinsella for a few years. Recently picked up a collection of short fiction, Japanese Baseball. When I'm in the mood for "magic realism" he works for me. Other times, not so much.
I like supporting local writers. I like Kinsella's attitude. Baseball can fuck off.
