Came across a delightfully well-timed bit of perspicacious writing in Time magazine's "Year In Review" edition for 2011. After a brief description of the Boston Bruin's shit-kicking of Dope City's favourite three time losers, this is how Time summed up Canuck Nation's response to the loss in game seven:
"The insult to national pride was so severe the fans leaving the arena started a mini-riot."
A mini-riot.
As in miniature.
As in not worthy of having its criminally charged participants' court proceedings televised.
Unless it is 1692 and we are living in Salem.
