Crooked Premier's Stakes

It is closing weekend at Dope City Downs. It has been a tough year at our east end oasis from the non-stop onslaught of evil we proudly showed off to the world last winter. The track's handle was embarrassingly low this year. Been like that ever since the big money boys' stock portfolios took a back alley beating a couple seasons ago. If it was not for dope money, the only place we would still be able to watch horse racing would be at the bush tracks in the interior.

The weekend's big race goes Sunday. The Crooked Premier's Stakes. There is a hot horse from south of the line coming up to take home the money. Our stakes purses up here do not look too bad to American horsemen when our dollar is fucking near par with their sorry war dollar. If the rain keeps up all weekend I think there might be a local horse or two up here that can beat him at odds that would put a smile on an axe ready Thanksgiving turkey.

One more shift, then the long weekend. Horse racing, Canadian football and pumpkin fucking pie. See you by the bar, motherfuckers.
