2010 Upper Class Twit of the Year

My little Hockey family tuned into Gordon Campbell's boring speech tonight. Sonja curled up on the couch beneath her winter blanket. The Hammer and I watched from the floor where we were having some play time.

When it was over I looked my television straight in the eye and said, "That's it?" What a waste of a half hour that was. I thought he would fire up the trusty old clunker, the class war machine, B.C.'s political parties rely on year after year to get them from A to B. All we got was boring charts and reassuring bullshit.

Gordon Campbell remains the Dope City Free Press' nominee for Upper Class Twit of the Year for the 13th year in a row. Luckily for his political party, his opposition, Carol James, has been our nominee for Working Class Twit of the Year for damn near as long. That is British Columbia politics for you: it does not matter who you vote for, the motherfucking government always wins.
