Most of the people I talk to about my affection for roller derby think I have at long last gone completely mad. Maybe even one step beyond madness. It sure would be nice if roller derby was an Olympic sport. At least the football lassies are rocking. This message is for you, you commie motherfuckers.

In my last USA Rollersport magazine it was mentioned the WFTDA (derby's sanctioning body, at least in the US) is considering easing rollerderby into the Olympic arena. If badminton can be considered an Olympic sport, why not rollerderby?? Brings a tear to my eye to think of the future....
I assume we'll see you on the 23rd for the historic Derby Night in Canada? Teams from Montreal to Vancouver.... First time in Canadian history.

I don't even watch Olympic beach volleyball and it is the closest thing to the original naked spirit of the original Olympics that is a part of the modern Boring Olympics. I hear the viewership for the beach volleyball is huge so I would not be the slightest bit surprised if the panting, smelly shitballs who run the Olympics could be interested in Flat Track Roller Derby. Y'all might want to consider making your roller derby uniforms a lot skimpier if you want to pave the way to Olympic Gold.
Me and my panting, smelly shitball roller derby buddies are expected at an annual drink 'til ya drop the same evening as DNIC. I'll be seeing them this weekend too. I know they, like me, do not want to miss DNIC, but annual piss ups have their own (great puddles of vomit) appeal.
I want them to get rid of candy ass college style wrestling and bring in Lucha Libre wrestling. Real wrestling. I did not watch one, not one, minute of the Olympics. I guess I don't give a shit about our great nation's mutants and their quest for international dominance over the mutants of other lands.
