On your right I have added a Roller Derby Name Generator. My roller derby name is Bomber Troublemaker. Sonja's laces them up as Alotta Apocalypse. The Hammer rolls as Barbie Blackenblue.
Finally had a nice sitdown with my roller girl acquaintance. Turns out that she trains locally but actually skates for a team in Oakland.
As I get older, I find that all of the really cool girls are WAY smarter than me and WAY more together than me. What happened to all of those fucked up crazy girls who used to steal my heart?
Anyhow, turns out she's 38. She could easily pass for 25. She has a master's in psychology and is a licensed counselor. She owns her own house and she and the fierce biker boyfriend are looking to invest in lots more real estate.
(My ex wife owns a house. I'll be renting this trailer from the gay cowboys, Buck and Tex, for as long as they'll have me.)
She even introduced me to her mom. All of this while wearing tartan bondage pants and giant platform boots that would look good at a Slade reunion.
I am not even feeling nostalgic about them crazy girls.

It's in the paper today. Sonoma County Roller Derby is starting it's first season.
