Occupy This, Occupy That

Yet another new Fellow Motherfucker has been added this august electronic press' sidebar. Barely Awake In Frog Pyjamas. He may not even be a Fellow Motherfucker but I figure any grown man who wears Montreal Canadien pyjamas around the house is some kind of a motherfucker.

I do not even want to get started adding Occupy This or That or the Other Fucking Thing to the sidebar. Frequent reader and retired bus driver extraordinaire Jon attended Santa Rosa's Occupy yesterday which got me to ask my computer just what went down in that little northern California race track town. I suggest you try this search technique yourself. Stick the name of any dumbshit American town you can think of and the word Occupy into the search engine of your choice.

There is something happening down there.

Santa Rosa has a population just a little larger than my town yet thousands of its residents turned out for the spark of its rebellion against the twin cancers of governments that do not give a shit and the chummy club capitalism has become. Nothing happened in my town, that is why I travelled, at great personal risk, into Dope City yesterday. Perhaps my town's apathy will change in the future.

Again - There is something happening in America. Might just be something bigger than the Super Bowl.

Thanks for the nod, but I can only aspire to such heights of sartorial splendiferousness.

Jeebuz!

I've gotta look this barely awake guy up.

Because....

If I didn't know better, I might be thinking 'twas me wrote that line above.

So much so, that, well....

I'm wondering if maybe the ghost of Rod Serling has entered the DCPress Building.

And ya, something is going on down in Jon's town...which really is significant given the fact that Santa Rosa is on the edge of wine country in NoCal (ie. it is no Patterson New Jersey)

I had to google sartorial splendiferousness. Am I alliterally that full of shit? Mr. Pyjamas writes so great, about his young life in somewhere close to the middle of nowhere America (one of my favourite points of view) especially, that growing up in Sliverville, as I did, seems kind of fucking Parisian in comparison.
