Saw Joe Keithley on Urban Rush tonight. He is still trying to draw attention to the many injustices our world has been strangled with for decades, if not centuries - poverty, prisons, homelessness, religious crazies, sexism, the RCMP, the usual bullshit. Even though the chances of us ever overcoming these mounting injustices look less and less likely, he keeps on trying. Persistence, that is one highly admirable quality.
Us Anarchists need people to look up to. We do not have as many people to choose from as the Authouritarians do. What we lack in numbers we have in quality however. That is why I try to support my local ethical Anarchists. It is easy to do because they are easy to find: there are not that many of them around. You do not get a tax refund from the fucking government for doing so, for obvious reasons, but the money or energy you can donate to your local Anarchists tends to go a long way.
That said, he is still Shithead to me.

Well said Jon. Joe had David Peel to look up to and I know there are lots of kids out there who look up to Joe. May the circle remain unbroken.
